“Holy Family Academy is not a typical Catholic school”
Holy Family Academy brings education into the 21st Century
|
|
| Holy Family offers a refreshingly unique community of
students, teachers and parents working together to create a
nurturing, stimulating environment for life-long learners.
We believe that each child is gifted. Our “thinking
curriculum” will produce confident individuals who can
communicate well and are comfortable learning new things
and coping with change. These qualities will thoroughly
prepare our students for the next level of education as well
as life in the 21st Century. |

Holy Family distinguishes itself by offering:
- Full-Day Kindergarten program. The Academy’s Full-Day Kindergarten program provides an opportunity not available in area public schools. With twice as much time spent in the classroom, children have the opportunity to really prepare for their 1st grade experience, no matter where that experience takes place. We consistently hear that our children are extremely well prepared for 1st grade, whether they continue at HFCA, or enroll in another area school.
- Small class size— averaging 20 students per class and each class is staffed with a teacher and teacher’s assistant.
- Differentiated instruction addressing every child’s unique learning style. Each child is given the opportunity to work at or above grade level.
- Innovative teaching methods including inquiry learning and an integrated curriculum that connects learning across subject-matter lines. This is a holistic way of teaching and learning and reflects a real world approach to problem solving.
- Technology that is seamlessly embedded throughout the curriculum.
- Holy Family’s elementary teachers participate in teacher training and development provided by a specialized team of consultants that monitors educational research and best practices.
