Art Teacher -– Mrs. Bev Breen is
a passionate watercolorist and an advocate of art who passes on the
importance and love of art to children at HFCA. She has taught studio
art to children most recently at Positive Strokes Art School in Palatine.
The Academy Art Program includes self-expression and creativity that
are developed through a variety of art media, including charcoal drawing,
watercolors, oils and three dimensional art. Study of the Masters are
on-going. Students receive Art instruction once a week beginning in
Kindergarten. |

Music teacher and Choir instructor --
Mr. Oleg Rudnytskyi holds a Bachelor Degree in
Music/Piano from Glinka State Music College and a Master
of Science in Music from Dnipropetrovs’k Institute, Ukraine.
Mr. O, as he is affectionately called by his students, has
taught music and choir instruction for students in preschool
through 8th grade at various Catholic and private schools.
He has directed school plays and concerts, led music enrichment
programs, established an elementary level school jazz band
and taught liturgical music. Mr. Rudnytskyi has performed
on tour in Western Europe as a pianist with a 16-piece big
band and received multiple awards for exceptional performance. |

Physical Education Teacher/Coach --
Mr. Anthony Lazarus graduated from Trinity International
University in Deerfield, Illinois, with a major in Physical
Education. He has previously taught PE at another area private
school |

Spanish teacher—Mrs. Silvia Medina graduated from the College of International Languages in Mexico City, Mexico. Prior to joining the Academy, Mrs. Medina taught Spanish at the Hoffman Estates Montessori School and provided private Spanish tutoring for elementary and high school students. |
