Our Parent Association

The National Education Association states: "Thirty years of research clearly shows that parent and community involvement in schools improves student achievement." The NEA lists "joining the parent group/association" as one of the steps parents can take to become involved.

Here at HFCA, every parent is automatically a member of the Parent Association. We ask every family in the Academy be a part of at least ONE committee, and last year 99% of our families responded by lending their time and talent. With over 20 active committees, there is a place for everyone to become involved.

Mission Statement

The Parent Association of Holy Family Catholic Academy exists to build a Catholic community of the families of our parochial school. We are Academy families who seek, through regular communication, a partnership between our homes and our school. We are parents who embrace Catholic education for our children. We choose to be active in our children’s education because we know that our presence in the school will help them grow in knowledge and in Christ.

Vision Statement

We are a community of parents who strive to be servant leaders. We are in service to our children, our teachers, our school, our church, our community and each other. We seek to raise our children in accordance with our Catholic faith. We strive to model the 40 Developmental Assets of the Search Institute by providing a strong network of loving, caring adults who will help raise our children to be healthy, wise, discerning Catholic adults. Our goal is to provide a feast of educational and faith-filled experiences in the classroom, in our homes, at social events and in the community through outreach.
