This is a 2 page worksheet about climate zones around the world. You do not need to print it, you can write it out on notebook paper.
Go to the website climate-zone.com and select the continent. You will see the countries on that continent. Next choose a city and write down the temperate information for this month in that city.
Put your paper in your folder and you will turn it in when we get back to school.

In Chapter 37 Dr Meescham uses the word euphemism. A euphemism is a way of trying to say something negative in a polite way. For example, if someone if someone is always late you might say she is time-challenged rather than saying she is always late. When I was a kid, we had a lovable but not very smart dalmatian named Rubix. We used to say he was one sandwich short of a picnic or not the sharpest pencil in the box.

Think about which weather hazard you might choose and if you want to build a plane/car/house. DO NOT start building until we learn more about different weather hazards, just get your brain started!
