Parent Association

Dear Holy Family Catholic Academy Families,

My name is Karlye Bensenhofer, and I am president of the Parent Association (PA). I have two children at Holy Family Academy. On behalf of the members of the PA Board, we all look forward to serving our community of students, parents, teachers, and staff by helping organize the numerous volunteers at the school.

The PA is a vital and integral part of the Academy's culture. Every parent is automatically a member of this impactful volunteer program. HFCA is a nationally and internationally recognized school, and it should not surprise anyone that we have a successful volunteer program.

The PA has monthly meetings, typically on the second Friday of the month at 9AM. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend these meetings. We would love to have you and your positive energy, fresh ideas, and new perspective. If attending is not possible, you can contribute to the monthly meetings by emailing me your questions, concerns, and ideas to add to the agenda. After the meeting, the minutes are always posted on the Sunday email newsletters the following week.

There are many volunteer options available to match any schedule, whether you are a parent who works outside of the home or inside the home, and every variation between. There is no set “look” to a Holy Family Catholic Academy volunteer; volunteers are needed and welcomed in many forms.

Below are the many volunteer opportunities at our school. Please read through the descriptions and see which of these events/needs line up with your special gifts. We would love to have you help this winning volunteer program continue to serve. If you are willing to give of your time, energy, and or ideas but don’t see something that fits your schedule, please contact me [email protected] I will help you find the perfect place for you to serve our kids, our school, and our community. It is a blessing to serve with the many volunteers at HFCA!

Remember that one of the best ways to influence our children is to model the behavior of participation and service to the community. So let’s all get involved and make a difference.

Sincerely,

Karlye
