Curious Moment: What Can You Create?-Wednesday
Use your imagination to create and build! Look around your home to find materials to build with: Legos, Duplos, Play-Doh, blocks, boxes, wood, paper, blankets, sticks, string, sand, mud etc.
- Design and build with your materials. It can be anything!
- Take a photo or a video of your creation.
- Tap the microphone to tell about what you created. Use lots of descriptive words.

-Go on a pattern hunt around your house
SEESAW ACTIVITY: Math Out and About: Outside Number Fun with Chalk
1.Have fun as a family playing outside with chalk and numbers.
2.Use chalk to draw a large number line and write numbers 0-10 on the number line.
3.Take turns thinking of addition or subtraction equations to solve (ex. 3+2=5 or 3-1=2).
4.Start at one number of the equation and hop spaces so you end up on the sum. (For 3 + 2, you start at 3 and jump 2 spaces to land at the sum 5.) Mix it up. Skip, walk, bear crawl or make up your own movement.
5.Take a photo or video of you playing this game.

I hope you all had a relaxing weekend. Mondays we have art and music. Due to art on Mondays (which takes up a lot of our morning), we have decided to NOT do small group Zooms. We wouldn’t have time for this in school so we are going to try this schedule out. I want to make sure I am not overloading the kids with work. Art is a 45 minute class so that is a big chunk of our morning.

I don’t know if I can thank you all enough for the amazing emails, videos and messages of support. We TRULY are an amazing team TOGETHER! Your children are the most important people right now! This is hard. WE are all parents, working, and trying to keep our lives in order as best as possible. We are learning this together and some things are going to work great and some things are going to be a TOTAL FLOP. If we can please give everything a try, I would appreciate it! If it doesn’t work for you, or your family after trying, PLEASE don’t hesitate to reach and we will figure it out together! I will tell you, Lauren and my FAVORITE part of the day is being with your kids. We will continue this week with our small groups, BUT if they aren’t working for you or it is difficult for us to manage, we may have to make some changes next week and we APPRECIATE you working with us through this. We want to make this manageable for your children, the families and us.

Happy Tuesday! It sounds like Seesaw is working well for navigating the activities and submitting work (other than the crash first thing in the morning). Just as we are learning, these websites are having a lot more users, and they are trying to keep up with the demand!
I will continue to post all assignments on my web page and Seesaw. If you have a problem with Seesaw you can always find everything on my web page. You will need to come to the web pages for Art, Music, Gym and Spanish. I do not have a way to add that to Seesaw.
