1.) Read John 13: 1-20. Jesus is the Son of God and teacher or master of the twelve, but he humbles himself and washes the disciples’ feet. Jesus washes the feet of the disciples to show us how to serve others. We should serve and care for all our brothers and sisters whether they live across the street, city, state, nation, or world. Most churches include the ritual of the washing of the feet during the Holy Thursday service.
