End of the Year Blessing
Angel Art

For the end of the year blessing I have put together a google slide with five different Angel Art Projects. For ideas and instruction students can click on the art projects posted on the back wall and the angel statue on the desk. Mrs. O' Brien has been promoting this idea on announcements and has asked that students send pictures of their angel art project to Mrs. Clark this week. The pictures of student artwork will be used in the end of the year blessing video.
Artsonia Classroom Mode (Do Not use Parent Mode because this goes to personal gallery only.)
PARENTS – Our school is offering a way for students to submit their artwork to their Artsonia portfolio from home.
Your child can use iPads or similar devices (or even a browser) to photograph their own artwork, make edits and enter artist statements - all on their own! The artwork will be reviewed by the art teacher prior to being published.
Download the Artsonia 6.0 app in the Apple or Android app store, then scan the Access Code below. (You can also go to www.artsonia.com/class on a browser and enter the access code manually if you don't have a compatible device.)

- WEEK ONE: Draw a caterpillar using pencil and crayon

- WEEK THREE: Draw a garden of Alliums: Unique, globe-shaped blooms are made up of hundreds of tiny flowers. Allium, also called Ornamental Onion, is one of the most interesting blooms in the spring and summer garden. With a spherical shape that holds its form throughout the season, it's one of the longest lasting blooms to be had from a bulb.

- WEEK NINE: In their IB unit the Kindergarten students learned about the four seasons and the weather changes they bring. In art class they drew four trees on different color construction paper. Each tree was colored differently to show how it would look during each of the four seasons.

- The above link is instruction for the IB Unit which involves animals. Mrs. Biere and I collobrated on a project that involves drawing Frida Kahlo's Cat. This Unit goes along with a read out loud video Mrs. Biere will be introducing on Monday 4/27 afternoon. Please see your classroom teacher for instruction. It is probably best to see Mrs. Biere's video 1st.
