Due:

June 3rd

Good morning, Families!  We made it to the end of the year and the end of this crazy e-learning!  I truly appreciate your support through all of this!  Although I have missed seeing the children in person, seeing their smiling faces in the pictures of their work and on our zoom calls has made it a bit more bearable.  Please keep in touch and if there is anything I can help with over the summer, feel free to reach out.

-Prayer-Here is a prayer for the children for June and throughout the summer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O78UfDkGhRs

-Calendar

  • Ask your child what letter the month starts with.  Ask what month we are in.
  • Sing and dance along to this Days of the Week song!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTl-_csSCwI
  • Count to today’s date.  Have your child point to the numbers as s/he counts.
  • Name the pictures on each day of the calendar, to see if your child can guess what the next picture might be.  When they have made a prediction, press the arrow (play) button and see if s/he is right.
  • Recite the date - Today is Wednesday, June 3rd.

-Zoom at 10:00 - For our last zoom call, weather permitting, find a place outside and bring some bubbles!  I want to make our last call fun, so hopefully it will work!  We will start with our regular song, a story, and then just kind of see where the call takes us.

*I will be emailing an end of the year slideshow shortly after the zoom call.  I hope you enjoy it!

*I will be at the drive through parade, so if you come by, please be sure to say hi!  This is, of course, completely optional!

*I will also be delivering some end of the year goodie bags today.  It will probably be a little bit later as I’m hoping my husband can drive me around again, as it makes for easier deliveries!  I will, again, text you after I put the goodie bags on your porch.  :)

Happy Monday, Families!  I hope you had a great weekend and a great Mother’s Day!  Today’s activities look a little long, but that’s just because I put in some lengthy explanations!  As always, please don’t feel pressure to get it all finished.  I’m just trying to keep the activities fun, engaging, and educational.  So, today we are learning about savanna animals.  The savanna is where lots of large animals live, like elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and rhinos! Also, don't forget to send us any pictures of our flat teacher adventures! :)

-Name practice - Choose one and send a picture to me:

  • Have an adult write or print your name in bubble letters.  Decorate the letters with stripes like a zebra or spots like a giraffe.
  • Write each letter of your name on a piece of paper or paper plate.  (Save these as we will use these again this week!).  Spread them out a little bit on the floor and then as you step on each letter, say the letter and roar like a lion!
  • Print out the attached page and practice tracing the lines.  Jungle animal tracing

-Craft activity - Choose one and send me a picture:

  • Fork painting lion - Using a piece of white or yellow paper, use a soup can and trace a circle in the middle.  Then, use a fork and some yellow or orange paint to create a mane.  Dip the fork in the paint, and start at the circle and drag the paint out with the tines of the fork.  See the attached picture.
  • Paper towel tube giraffe - Paint the tube yellow. Allow the paint to dry.  While the paint is drying, tear apart some brown “spots” for your giraffe.  You can use brown construction paper or just color white paper with a brown crayon.  Glue the spots to the tube.  Next, use a cup to trace a circle for the head and add two ears.  Color the very bottom part of the head brown to make a snout.  Use a black to make eyes, nostrils, and a smile.  Glue the head to the top of the tube and enjoy your giraffe!  (picture attached)
  • Elephant paper plate craft  - Using a white paper plate, paint it blue or grey. This would be a good project to sponge paint if you had an extra sponge around.   Cut out the top edge and the bottom edge, leaving the two sides as ears.  Save the pieces.  Draw on two eyes.  Then, use the extra piece of plate, cut it a little skinnier, and use it for the trunk.  Here is a link to the tutorial  https://www.craftymorning.com/paper-plate-elephant-kids-craft/
  • Zebra marble painting - Print the attached zebra outline.  Using a tray or box top, gently tape the zebra to the tray.  Add a small amount of black paint to the tray and then add in a marble (or other small ball that you don’t mind getting painted).  Let your child roll the marble around back and forth so that lines form on the zebra.  After the paint dries, you can cut out the zebra or leave as is.

-Check out some of these animals!  It’s like a trip to the zoo in your own house! My girls are really enjoying this! https://animals.sandiegozoo.org/live-cams  Draw a picture of your favorite animal and send it to Mrs. Lisa.

-Math activity - Choose one and send a picture to Mrs. Lisa:

  • Write numbers 1-10 on small pieces of paper (post-it size).  Mom or Dad hide the numbers around the house and the student tries to find the numbers.  When all numbers have been found, put them in order.
  • Print the attached counting page.  Color the animals, count how many there are,  and circle the correct number.
  • Find some savannah animals at your house.  They can be stuffed animals, figures, pictures, etc.  Count how many you find and write that number on a piece of paper.  Send a video of your counting or a picture of your number.

-I thought it would be fun to try a flipgrid activity with the children.  Flipgrid allows the children to record brief videos and then all children in the class can watch them.  I’m sharing the link here.  Each child’s student ID is their first name with a capital first letter.  (ex. My student ID would be Kelley.)  This is my first try at this, so please reach out if it doesn’t work!  :)  https://flipgrid.com/sgroi1920  For our first one, I thought the kids could tell each other something special they did for their mom for Mother’s Day.  I believe my daughter did the first one for us!  :)

-All About Mom Mother’s Day page - Mom’s, if you could let another adult fill this out for you, it will be more fun!  This is one of my favorite Mother’s Day activities to do each year, and I’m so sad I won’t be able to do it for you!  Just let the children answer honestly and write down what they say.  No guiding or leading answers!

-Exploring flowers - Choose one and send Mrs. Lisa a picture

  • Signs of spring hunt - I know it’s supposed to be a bit cooler today, so you can do this hunt even by peeking out your window!

  • Draw a flower using your favorite color.  Flowers have three main parts: a stem, leaves, and petals.

-A butterfly’s wings are symmetrical.  We learned about symmetry in the science lab about snowflakes - remember symmetry means both sides are the same.  A butterfly’s wings are the same on both sides.  Choose one of the following to do and send me a picture:

  • Draw a butterfly (or use the attached butterfly), and color its wings so they are symmetrical - the same.  Send me a picture of your butterfly.
  • Cut out a large butterfly from a piece of paper.  (If you want to print a template, just Google “butterfly template” and there are a lot of different ones.)  Fold the butterfly in half.  Open it back up and put a few drops of paint on one side.  Fold the paper again and squish the paint around.  Open it up to see the symmetrical paintings!
  • Make a butterfly suncatcher.  Butterfly sun catcher

-Pretend you are a butterfly!  Start as a caterpillar and crawl around on the floor.  Then, wrap yourself in a blanket like a chrysalis.  Finally, “hatch” out of the chrysalis and use the blanket for your new butterfly wings!  Send Mrs. Lisa a picture.

-Enjoy this video and song about a butterfly.  Butterfly song  And here is another song about different things in nature.  One of my favorites!  If I Were a Butterfly

-People change, too.  Look at a picture of you when you were a baby.  Then, look at you now!  How have you changed?  Ask an adult to help you make a list and send it to Mrs. Lisa.

-Calendar - Today I am giving you the calendar to do with the kiddos.  As the calendar gets longer, it is harder for me to listen to everyone on a Zoom call to make sure they are following along.  I am including all the steps and songs for you.  (The calendar can be found at the bottom of these assignments.)

  • Ask your child what letter the month starts with.  See if s/he can remember the name of our month.
  • Sing the Days of the Week song, pointing to the days as they are sung. Ask your child what day today is.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKqAblcwFOA
  • Count to today’s date.  Have your child point to the numbers as s/he counts.
  • Recite the pattern.  When you get to today’s date, stop and ask your child what the picture today will be.  When they have made a prediction, press the arrow (play) button and see if s/he is right.
  • Recite the date - Today is Wednesday, April 15th.

-Name - Choose one of the following activities and send a picture to me:

  • Dot name - Parents write child’s name in large letters and child uses a Dot Marker or another stamp to cover the letters
  • Name Art - Parents write the child’s name in large letters and child glues beans, cotton balls, pasta, etc. to the name
  • Squishy name bag - This looks like a fun idea and the bag can be used for many different activities!  https://www.learning4kids.net/2015/06/30/how-to-make-squishy-sensory-bags/
  • Cotton swab painting - Children paint their name with a cotton swab
  • Letter Hunt - Hunt for the letters of your name in your house.  Take a picture of the letters to show you found them all!

-Story-Little Animals Lost - Listen to a story about the animals being thinkers to solve their problem.

-Paper towel art -Cut a small section of paper towel and fold it in half.  On the inside, draw an outline of a shape in Sharpie and then fold the paper towel over it and trace the shape with the Sharpie.  Then, color the inside picture in with regular markers. Then, fold the paper towel again. Put a small amount of water on a plate, drop the folded paper towel on the plate to see colors bleed through. (see video link) If you take a video, feel free to share it with me.  :) https://www.instagram.com/p/B-r1zF0DgwC/

-Build the letter Z.  Here is our Z song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YiSDOn3vWMo

Zoo starts with “Z”. Can you find animals around your house that belong in a zoo?  Take a picture of your letter Z and some zoo animals and send it to Mrs. Lisa.

-It’s a gym day!  Go to Coach Red’s page to see what activities she has for you to do! https://www.holyfamilycatholicacademy.net/apps/classes/show_class.jsp?classREC_ID=951503

-Scavenger Hunt - Today find something soft, a book with numbers in it, and two socks that match.  Take a picture of them all together and send it to Mrs. Lisa.

*Parents, please start saving cardboard materials (cereal boxes, tissue boxes, toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, etc.).  We will work on a project with these next week.

*Happynumbers.com seems to be going well for the students who have used it. If you need usernames or password, please let me know.

*Here is another new website I’ve been working on for the kids to do some interactive learning.

www.boomlearning.com

When you get to the site, click on “sign in with boom” and enter your child’s username.

The usernames are - firstname.hfca20 (for example, kelley.hfca20) and the passwords are picture passwords - butterfly and bug

There are several different activities for the children to do that practice letters and numbers.  I hope they enjoy it. Please let me know your thoughts on these activities as I can make more if people are enjoying them.  Thank you!

Assignment

Good morning Families!

As our last class day before Easter, I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Easter. I know the celebration will most likely be different than previous years, but the meaning remains the same. Take time to enjoy this gift of time we've been given and relax with your family. Remember there is no class on Monday, April 13th, as it was a scheduled day off. As soon as I have received some hidden eggs, I will put together our virtual egg hunt and share it with you all. Have a great Easter and please reach out if you need anything!

-Name activity - Choose one to do and send a picture to Mrs. Lisa.

  • Salt, Glue, Watercolor name https://happyhooligans.ca/salt-glue-watercolour-art/
  • Name Puzzle - Write your child’s name on a piece of paper, then cut each letter apart, mix them up and have your child put it back together.  (Save this to use again on another day!)
  • Bottle Cap name - Using bottle caps (water bottles, juice bottles, etc.), write one letter of your child’s name on each cap and have your child arrange them in the correct order.
  • Playdough writing - Have your child flatten playdough so there is enough space to write the letters of his/her name.  Allow them to write their name in the playdough using the point of a pencil, or the corner of a ruler.
  • Bunny Name-Use the attached form or create your own!  This is something that I have done in the past and the kids usually love it.

-This week we are learning the letter Y.  Build the letter Y and look for the letter Y in your house.  Send a picture to Mrs. Lisa.

-We are learning about Changes.  Our seasons change. We have been talking about Spring, however there are other seasons - Summer, Fall, and Winter.  Play the game to help the animal get ready for the season. https://www.pbslearningmedia.org/resource/evscps.sci.ess.watcyc.dress/dress-for-the-weather/

-Find the differences in the I Spy pages.  You do not need to print them, the students can identify the changes to you on the screen.  Choose one or two pages and have your student identify the changes in the pictures.

-Easter is almost here!  Decorate an Easter egg (paper or real) however you want and send me a picture.

-Make a pattern.  It can be ABABAB or ABBABB.  You can use one of the attached pages or create your own pattern with items at home.  Remember, a pattern is like what we do on our calendar.  Try to think of what comes next. Send me a picture of your pattern.

-Pathway to Easter - We are so close! The next time we have "school" will be after Easter!

-Egg Hunt picture-please send to me by Thursday. (I know we don’t have “school” on Friday, but since I won’t be going anywhere, I’ll compile the pictures for an egg hunt for Friday...you can do it anytime over Easter weekend if you’d like.  Purely optional and something fun - hopefully!) I’ve attached my “hidden” egg picture.

-Happy Numbers - Remember that this is an option for the children to continue practicing their “math” skills.  I see a few friends have been on it, so hopefully they’ve enjoyed it! I'm including the username/password information again in case anyone needs it. Happynumbers.com

Assignment

Good Morning, Families!

Happy Monday! I hope everyone is doing well and ready for another week of learning! In today's activities, I tried to give a variety of choices so you can choose whichever activity you'd like based on what you have at home or what your child's interests are. I believe there is something for everyone, and some activities that require only the bare minimum supplies. I hope you have a great day...the sun is shining this morning and the birds are singing! As always, please reach out if you need anything!

Good morning and happy Friday!

We made it through another week.  Thank you to all the parents for continuing to work with your child on the activities that we have planned.  As time goes on, and I’m learning new things, I’m hoping this will become a bit more streamlined. Please, as always, feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns - We are in this together!

-Zoom meeting at 10:00!  Bring something that is a square to show your friends.

-Color a heart and put it in your window. Send me a picture so we can share a little love today!

-Name activity  Choose one and send a picture to me:

  • Name hop - write one letter of your name on a piece of paper or small paper plate and then hop the letters in order and say the name of the letter.
  • Build your name with magnet letters
  • Hidden name - parent writes child’s name with white crayon and child paints over it to “find” the letters and say the name of the letters.

-Calendar.  Watch the video and help me out! (This is my first try - I’m hoping it will get better!)

-Do a puzzle.  Send Mrs. Lisa a picture when you’re done.

-Find 10 of the same objects (Legos, spoons, cars, hair clips, etc.).  Line them up and take a video of you counting them. Send the video to Mrs. Lisa.

-Pathway to Easter.  We are getting so close!  I sure wish we could all celebrate together!

-Listen to a story When Spring Comes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IMQguIVLL4

*Go outside and look for signs of spring!  Take a picture or short video and send it to me. I found some at my house (pictures) and Mrs. Lisa found some at her house.  (see video)

-It is a music day.  Please go to Mr. Cole’s site here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwnRsrx0Dus   to see what he has for you to do.

**Extra Ideas**

-I mentioned an app/website that I was looking at for our kiddos.  I found this one called Happy Numbers. It is pretty easy for the kids to do.  My only downside to this one is it seems that the children have to complete the activities in order.  But, if you are looking for something for them to try, that keeps them focused on learning what they are supposed to be learning at this age, give it a try. If you do try it, please let me know your thoughts, as it's been quite a while since I've had a preschooler in my house! I’ve included the list of passwords, too.  Here is the letter that came telling how to set it up.

 Dear Parents,

Due to the school closure, our class has an option to learn math online using Happy Numbers. It’s a web-based PK-5 math tool that moves children along at their own pace based on responses and provides helpful feedback after any errors. Although the exercises are all fun, interactive, and visually appealing, don’t be fooled! Your child will be gaining valuable practice in important math skills.

Follow these simple steps to use Happy Numbers at home:

  1. Go to HappyNumbers.com
  2. Click the “I’m a Student” button
  3. Enter our class number (780929)
  4. Select your child’s name from the class list
  1. Enter your child’s password (see attached PDF titled "Happy Numbers")

Assignment

Good morning!

Welcome to another e-learning day!  Parents, I want to thank you for all the effort you are putting in to help your child continue learning.  I know it’s not easy with many of you also trying to work, so please, if things feel overwhelming, please reach out so I can adjust things.  Here are some activities for the day. The most important thing in this crazy time is that the children know we are here for them. Please tell them I say hi.  I will schedule another Zoom meeting for Friday.

-Prayer - Here is a new prayer for a new month!

-Today is the beginning of a new month! We said goodbye to March. What month is it now? Be ready for a new calendar on Friday!

-Name writing.  Rainbow write your name. Write your name (or a parent can write your name) with a pencil or in black. Then, choose three different colors to trace your name.   Send a picture to me so I can see all those colors!

-Scavenger Hunt - Today let’s see if you can find a book with the first letter of your name in the title, something green, and something that is a square.  Take a picture with all three things and send it to Mrs. Lisa.

-Build X - When we say the X sound we pretend we are taking a picture. Listen to the X song here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaxDYgrpSBE

-Listen to the story The Dot  here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Clpw7PG7m1Q

*We are Thinkers this month!  Thinkers solve problems. Vashti was a thinker in the story.

-Today we are learning a new shape.  Today our shape is a diamond, or the big kid word is a rhombus.

What kind of creation can you make with a diamond/rhombus?  Take a picture and send it to Mrs. Lisa.

-Work on Numbers:

Choose one of the following: (take a picture and send it to me.)

*Use the attached grid to practice counting to 10.  Roll two dice and then put a marker (cereal, pompoms, Lego, etc.) on that number.

*Don’t want to print?  No problem! Make your own grid and practice counting to 10, the same as above. Better yet, make the grid lines and let your preschooler write in the numbers!

*Write numbers on the sidewalk and have the child listen for how many claps (or you can still roll a dice) and then spray that number with water.

*Go on a Counting Walk - Pick an item and invite your kids to start counting them as you go on a neighborhood walk.  (How many squirrels can we find? How many blue cars can we find? etc.)

-Today is a gym day.  Here is the link to Coach Red’s webpage.  If you scroll down a bit, you will find ideas for PreK-1st grade.  Enjoy! https://www.holyfamilycatholicacademy.net/apps/classes/show_class.jsp?classREC_ID=951503

Extra ideas:

Here are some ideas that I’ve been working on but they are purely just something extra.  I don’t want to overwhelm anyone.

-For music and movement activities, Miss Carole has some great songs.  We have done a few in the class. Here is a link to a concert she did at a library.  It’s long, so you may choose to leave it run, or hop through to see if there are any songs your child might want to do.  Or you can just search her name for individual songs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4kR3y6VSNw

-Another great one for music and movement, that I think I mentioned before, is Jack Hartmann.  We haven’t done many of his in class, only because I think his are more fun if the children can see him and we don’t have that ability in the classroom.  (Except on my small laptop or ipad which is not easy with 13 students to huddle around!) Here is his Penguin Dance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uf0uKmKwnKs  and his Animal Dance and Freeze  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpOe8lngp_o   Or feel free to search his name and find something your child would enjoy.  There are numbers, letters, rhyming, and just moving.

-I'm also working on setting up some websites/apps for the children to use. I'm trying to find the best ones out there for preschoolers. Watch for these on Friday (hopefully!) :)

-Color your Pathway to Easter

Due:

Assignment

-Start the morning with our prayer.

-Color your name that went home in your child’s folder.  (If you don’t have it, you can bubble write your child’s name for him/her to color.)  Send a picture to Mrs. Sgroi.

-Sing along. Our version is a little different as we usually sing "5 Green and Speckled Frogs," but the video to go along is cute.

5 Little Speckled Frogs

https://www.starfall.com/h/mathsongs/vfs262247105?

-Read a story and search for letters in your name. E-mail Mrs. Sgroi with what book you read.

-Color Pathway to Easter. We're halfway through Lent!

-Listen to story sent from Mrs. Sgroi.

-Look for Frankie.  Email Mrs. Lisa to tell what he’s doing!

-Oval creation.  Cut out a small oval and have your child make an “oval creation” using markers or crayons.  Send a picture to Mrs. Lisa.

-Rainbow Roll and Cover. Roll a dice (hopefully you have one...otherwise you can make a spinner with a paper, pencil, and paper clip). Count which number was rolled. Then, use a small object (cereal, legos, pom-poms, etc.) to cover that number on the rainbow. If you want more of a challenge, use two dice and go to 12, but we're working on just numbers 1-6.

-It's a gym day! Check out Coach Red’s page for activities, and choose one of the games, Don't Touch the Lave or the Obstacle course.

-Don't Touch the Lava This is a fun game that you can use to practice many skills.

-Create an obstacle course with pillows, blankets, and chairs. Practice going under, over, and around.

-Dance party!  Take a short video and email it to Mrs. Sgroi.

-Walk/Move like an animal.  Take a short video and email it to Mrs. Lisa and let her know what animal you are

Fine motor practice.  Do two activities and send a picture to Mrs. Sgroi. (If you don't have the supplies for these, activities from Monday may be used.)

-Peeling Tape – Lay some painter’s tape down on a flat surface for toddlers to peel off, practicing their pincer grasp.

-Clothespin Grasping – Clip clothespins onto a wire basket for children to pinch and unclip.

-Pom-pom Whisk – Fill the inside of a whisk with pom-poms for children to grasp and remove.

-Ice Tray Transfer – Provide ice trays to scoop various items into, such as pom-poms and buttons.

-Pouring Station – Gather up a collection of measuring cups and other pouring devices for children to practice their precise pouring skills.

-Cooling Rack Weaving – Have your child weave pipe cleaners or ribbon back and forth through cooling racks.

(If using ribbon, tape one end to one end of the cooling rack.)

-Weather permitting, go outside and blow some bubbles for your child to pop.  Watch how high the bubbles go and try to get them before they get too high!

Extra Ideas:

Assignment

Good morning! Here are some activities for you to do today. They can be done in any order at any time. Please be sure to email me at least once this morning so I can take "attendance". Items in green indicate an attachment. Items in blue are links to click on. Some activities have accountability pieces (for example, "email Mrs. Lisa"), that are required to show we are doing our daily activities. As always, please feel free to reach out with any and all questions. I will do my best to answer them all! Finally, I hope all my attachments work. I'm not the most tech savvy person, but things seemed to work from my home computer. If nothing else, please find time to play with your child. Engage in pretend play, draw a picture, make the most of this mandatory family time.

-Prayer. (see attached)  We do the sign of the cross at the beginning and end of the prayer.

-Have your child write or trace their name.  If they want to trace it, I recommend using a yellow marker so they can follow your lines.

-Listen to the Mat Man song.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ec7J57YewxQ

-Draw a self-portrait. (I've included a download page-My Self Portrait-to draw on if you are able to print it. That way it will fit easily into our book of monthly self-portraits.) Remember to think about Mat Man and make sure you have all the same parts.  Also, remind the children that I know none of them have blue or purple hair! Try to make it true to what they look like today. Put this picture in their homework folder so that I can add it to our collection of pictures.

-Build W-Show your child a W.  Ask your child what “pieces” they would need to build a W.  (Hopefully, they will remember they need 4 big lines. I've included a document titled, "capsformations" for you to reference if needed.)

-Read a story.  Search for letters in your name.  Email Mrs. Lisa ([email protected]) to tell her what book you read.

-Listen to a story sent from Mrs. Sgroi. Monday's Story

-Look for Frankie in the assignments...email Mrs. Lisa to tell her what he is doing.

-Cut out a small rectangle.  Have your child glue it to a paper and make a creation using markers/crayons.  We’ve already made creations with circles, triangles, and squares. Take a picture and email it to Mrs. Sgroi.

-Count the bees. You can cut the pieces apart and "hide" them around an area and have your child "find" them. We call this counting the room. When they find a card, ask how many bees are on the flower. Then they can go find another flower. Start with the first page of bees, counting 1-6. If your child needs more of challenge, add the second page of counting to 12.

-Slippery Fish!  This is a class favorite song.  I do not have a video with our moves, but I’m pretty sure most of the children know them.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g67pk7gXJLo

-Color the Pathway to Easter - I’ve included my up to date image.

-Choose two of the following fine motor practice activities.  Take a picture doing the activity and send it to Mrs. Sgroi.

*Provide some small tongs to grasp blocks with, attempting to line up and stack the blocks.

*Squeezing water out of a sponge (or washcloth) is another fun way to practice fine motor skills.  Set up a fun car wash station with toy cars or animals and let your child practice washing the toys and squeezing out the water.  Encourage them to get out all the water from the sponge!

*Twist Tops (open & close) If you have empty plastic jars, let them practice opening and closing the twist tops (think an empty peanut butter jar or an empty milk container or water bottle – make sure to only let them do this under supervision with smaller caps that they could get into their mouths.)

*Peeling Tape – Lay some painter’s tape down on a flat surface for toddlers to peel off, practicing their pincer grasp.

*Thread various items, such as q-tips or pipe cleaners, through the holes of an upside-down colander.

-Weather permitting, go outside and play with your child.  Whether it’s something like bouncing a ball, hopscotch (which many of them love!), or just taking a walk.  Head on outside and enjoy some fresh air...it's good for all of us! :)
