Our 4th graders visited Springfield as part of their Who We Are IB Unit and their inquiry entitled Illinois Proud. It was a busy day departing school before 6:00 AM and making stops at the Lincoln Presidential Museum, Lincoln's Tomb, Illinois State Capital, and Abraham and Mary Todd Lincoln's home. Whew!! What a great day of fun and learning! TY Mrs. Toussaint, Mrs. Liesenberg, Mrs. Gannon, Mrs. Clark, and parent chaperones.
