Mrs. Kim Pohl-Smith
Mrs. Kim Smith is the HFCA School Counselor through the partnership with Ascension Behavioral Health, school-based services. Kim graduated from National Louis University with a Master’s degree in Counseling. Prior to joining HFCA, she worked in schools for several years as a counselor and also worked at a private practice working primarily with children and teens. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the State of Illinois. She will provide HFCA services including individual and group therapy sessions and classroom interventions covering topics such as mindfulness, anxiety, depression, social skills, grief, anger, ADHD skill building, and executive functioning.
