good afternoon everyone I hope you had a nice lunch and recess now it's time to settle in for a read last time we got together we read The Magic Tree House today we're going to read by request by some of you no Ivy and Bean was written by Annie Burrows and Sophie blackall is the New York Times bestseller series and this is the first book in the series and some of you like to know how chapters so here's how many chapters there's 10 chapters now there's five days in a week for school and I have 10 chapters and I want to finish the book from the first day Monday to the end of Friday night chapters would I need to read a day to get to the final 10th Jamboree by Friday well if you take two times five cuz there's five days in a week it would be 10 so how many chapters does that make a day if you said two chapters a day you are absolutely right so now let's be the first chapter is called thanks Mary's B before being my ID she didn't like her these mother was always saying that we should try playing with the new girl across the street but being didn't want to she's seven years old just like you said mother and she seems like such a nice girl you could be friends I already have friend said being and that was true but really she didn't want to play with Ivy because her mother was right I be distant like such a nice girl uniform across the street she looks nice but nice being knew was another word for boring nicely on her front steps being around her yard and yelled Ivy has long curly hair pushed back with a sparkly headband beans hair was black and it only came to her chin because it got tangled if it was any longer when being put on a headband it fell off I do wear dress everyday bur dress when her mother made her IV was always reading a big book you never read the big books reading made her jumping he was sure that I never stopped and puddles she was sure that I would never smash rocks to find gold I wonder how being knows that much about IV if she's never given her a chance and she's never talked to her but you seem so sure but how many of you would give IV a chance that a lot of you would she was sure that Ivy had never open hole like limes train falling out fingerboard just looking at her so when her mother said she should play at the ivy be just flipped shook her head you could give it a try you might like her sippy mom All Aboard next train for pouring is leaving now helping her mother frowned that's not very nice being I was nice I said no thanks sippin I just oh okay okay okay her mother side have it your way so for weeks and weeks being didn't play with IV for one day something happened that changed her mind any predictions out there or what changed her mind end of chapter 1 chapter 2 being hatches a plan look at her face oh my goodness. she's feeling Heaven if you felt that way it All Began because Ben was playing a trick on her older sister beans older sister was named Nancy she was 11 Nancy thought being was a anapest being that Nancy was a booger head that you call your brothers or sisters that ever since you turned 11 Nancy have been acting like she was being sold her mother she ordered being around and a girl and a boy voice call your hair no more pencils brush your teeth say please oh my God you have older brothers and sisters that like a boss you around or are you an older brother or sister to boss your siblings around might be a connection here bees mother said that Nancy was going through a Stage B knew what that meant that meant Nancy was bossy being also knew that nobody likes bossy kids so she was trying to help Nancy be done with her stage here's how she helped he butt enhancing till Nancy freaked out being thought this was this was pretty helpful the afternoon that being got a great idea she was shopping with her mom and Nancy actually being with being dragged Along by her mom and Nancy be hated shopping Nancy loved loved loved it Nancy was trying on skirts lots of skirts she put on a purple skirt she looked at her front in the mirror then she turned to the side then she turned around and try to look at her behind looks good that mean let's go you think the pockets are dumb I like the podcast siblings mom Lapine trying to pick up Nancy and I'll all the shopping bags up there how many of you like shopping you feel like beads get it get it mung bean she had never been so bored in her entire life she was so bored she fell on the floor then she took a tiny peek at the lady any other dressing room she waited Nancy look at herself Nancy said but it cost 40 that's all my money I could get two shirts for $40 AUD said Bean she had just learned that word it meant someone who doesn't like to spend money by nice thing to call someone they are looking at the skirts beading Fire and Ice order his sister don't call your sister tightwad siblings mom beans on it since I was looking at the mirror B Miles without any sound Nancy's ice got narrow and so quick to her mother didn't see she stuck out her tongue the Nancy turn to their mother and said jerk off too much Mom I think I draw cramps in tops being knew then that Nancy was being slow on purpose just to drive her crazy you thought about kicking her in the shin on my but then she got an idea it was a great idea Alcoa helpful idea one that would teach Nancy not to be such a tightwad and best of all her idea would make Nancy freak out b miles to Nancy oh my a little sibling rivalry wonder what her I did you have any ideas any predictions what her great ideas going to be that's going to help the Freak Out fancy the end of the chapter end of chapter 2 all right here looking for chapter 3 for tomorrow the ghost of pancake Court does it help you predict what might happen tomorrow but we'll have to wait and see
